Yellow Dreams

A rather loose take on a typical sci-fi entrance, hoping to get the essence of sun shining though.

2013

It's been a hefty start for this year of 2013, got a bit into those haphazard highway trips however insignificant they are though. The surroundings are always aflame with frequent public protests all over the country.  The protests were mainly against the war criminals of 1971, who assisted in mass genocides during our liberation  war,  would be a crime not to share some pictures obviously.

In the mean time before raising my vocal chords, there I was getting plunged towards coxs bazaar, the blue skies and the lazy sun. Quite an escape from the busy streets of Dhaka !

The Curious One

There was a cricket match being aired live between Bangladesh and West Indies right at Dhaka during the last world cup. Although in big screens but that didn't stop people from getting festive!

A tribute to Syd Mead

This was a competition entry by me in CGsociety , in tribute to Syd Mead. The subject is quite familiar in South Asia, not sure if the western chaps are familiar with this vehicle. The name is Rickshaw and if anyone of you've been on one, then you'd feel how much breezy and comfortable it is, albeit having zero carbon emission :P

Now the Painting depicts a future derivation of a traditional rickshaw and theres a bit of Tron influence in the design, after all it was Syd who designed the lightcycles in tron.

The never ending Saga

Well lets be honest here, it's been a year or more since there was a post in this abandoned wall, but still everything has it's reason and so does this blog, so here's a blast! The vehicle ( Locally called VanGaari) can carry quite a payload compared to the flimsy rickshaw character it depicts. Neverthless lets hope the guy made it to his destinations , after all the stuffs do look like charged cannons in the streets of Dhaka.

ANOTHER DAY IN OBLIVION......

Went to doc just to hear that I'll be taking in those awesome steroids for another 2 weeks. So you might ask how does that feel? Feel what? I really don't think I feel anything anymore. Have been buzzing my head off in this room for the last one month and I still can't get out of this quarantined state. Did some writings though.
While on the way towards the hospital I had to encounter this kid 6 or 5 years maybe, who suddenly started cleaning my car with his dirty napkin, obviously for money but at least it's better than begging. Which reminds me of this kid

He was selling toys in front of the institute of fine arts. He wasn't interested in those toys, rather he seemed worried about his sells. Maybe he had to take care of his family? If he couldn't sell enough of his toys they'd go without food for that day. Who knows? So many stories in this city of dhaka. While I'm stuck in my room fighting Leocytoclastic vasculitis!
