A tribute to Syd Mead

This was a competition entry by me in CGsociety , in tribute to Syd Mead. The subject is quite familiar in South Asia, not sure if the western chaps are familiar with this vehicle. The name is Rickshaw and if anyone of you've been on one, then you'd feel how much breezy and comfortable it is, albeit having zero carbon emission :P

Now the Painting depicts a future derivation of a traditional rickshaw and theres a bit of Tron influence in the design, after all it was Syd who designed the lightcycles in tron.

One small step towards a giant leap..

So I 've just received a wacom(digitizer) about a week ago. Have been waiting for that for years and now that I have It, just can't believe the scenerio. Anyways enjoy my first digi paint, nothing to blabla today
